Kitchen Sink Salad (with or without protein)
This is the salad that launched it all. A medley of all things fresh and good, it changes as to what is in season, what is locally available and what flavors will meld the best. It will always be a mix of the freshest veggies, a leafy base, some sort of fat (usually cheese but sometimes bacon or prosciutto or ….?), nuts or seeds (almonds, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, toasted pine nuts, etc) a protein if desired (roasted chicken, grilled salmon, marinated shrimp), and topped with a homemade dressing (mustard vinaigrette, green goddess, soy miso, etc.) Super fresh, super healthy, super seasonal and always creative.
